Created in July 2007 to modernize the historical mission of the Alliance française founded in 1883, with the goal of increasing the diffusion of the French language and culture. Headquarters of the worldwide network of Alliances Françaises.

Located in the heart of the French capital, the Ecole Internationale de langue et de civilisation française (a.k.a. the Paris Alliance) is a genuine international meeting place. It is essentially a school of French as a foreign language where courses of all levels can be customized and where various diplomas can be obtained.
