French native Gilbert Vial will teach this class that starts with the basics. It is for those who have never studied French or who want a review. The class will consist of five sessions held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in Ridgeland. The five sessions cost $100 per person. This is for members only and meets on Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 p.m., at Banner Hall at tables across from Broadstreet Bakery. The conversation is free flowing on a range of topics, including current events, participants’ interests, travel, and French culture. Free; membership in AFJ is required.

Thursday Night Conversation

This group, led by French native Gilbert Vial, is open to everyone with at least a basic level of French. The focus is on casual conversation, covering a variety of topics. This group is free, and for the remainder of 2017, it is not necessary to be a member of AFJ to participate.

This conversation group is a great opportunity for students of all levels of French. The conversation is free flowing on a range of topics, including current events, participants’ interests, travel, and French culture. Each meeting is facilitated by fluent French speakers. Free; membership in AFJ is required.
