Membership in Alliance Française de Jackson is required for participation in all classes. If you are not currently a member of AFJ, you may join at the time of registration.

LEARN FRENCH – BEGINNING FRENCH | A1
Tuesdays, beginning September 10

EN AVANT – CONTINUING FRENCH | A1/A2
Wednesdays, beginning September 11

INTERMEDIATE FRENCH READINGS | A2/B2
Mondays, beginning October 7
6:30-7:45 p.m.
Jackson, Greater Belhaven Neighborhood
Five Sessions | $125 (plus AFJ Membership)

This class is for those who have some knowledge of present, past, and future tenses and want to develop their French through reading and discussing in French. The class consists of five sessions meeting on October 7, 14, 28, November 4 and 18. The class is aimed at A-2, B-1, and B-2 levels. The class will be held in the greater Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson. CONVERSATION GROUPS

In addition to classes, we also offer two conversation groups, with options appropriate for all levels of French. These groups are all free. Membership in AFJ is required to participate, but we invite guests to visit once or twice before making the decision to join.

Le Cercle des Amis – Advanced Round Table Conversation
Thursdays
4:00-5:30 p.m. | Banner Hall, Jackson

This is for members only and meets on Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 p.m., at Banner Hall at tables across from Broadstreet Bakery. The conversation is free flowing on a range of topics, including current events, participants’ interests, travel, and French culture.

Saturday Conversation – All Levels
First and Third Saturdays of each month
3:00-4:30 p.m. | Banner Hall

This conversation group is a great opportunity for students of all levels of French to practice listening and speaking skills. The conversation is casual on a range of topics, including current events, participants’ interests, travel, and French culture. Each meeting is facilitated by fluent French speakers.
